We’re partnering with a leading EPC specializing in providing innovative solutions for the power, renewable, and industrial industries. With over 15 GW of installed capacity, our extensive experience spans state-of-the-art combined cycle and simple cycle gas turbine plants, biomass projects, solar facilities, wind farms, biofuel plants, and various industrial and environmental facilities nationwide. 

Through this expansion they’re looking for an individual with experience in renewables, combined-cycle power plant construction, or large scale industrial projects to join our team and contribute to our continued success. 

The Field Electrical Engineer provides on-site support during power plant construction, collaborating with project stakeholders to ensure compliance and safety. They also conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and prepare technical documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site electrical engineering support during construction, installation, and commissioning phases of power plant projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
  • Conduct inspections and quality assurance checks to verify the integrity and functionality of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical solutions to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and commissioning reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the power generation or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and protection schemes.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or other design software is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-site at project locations across the United States.
