As a Civil Superintendent, a full-time field-based position dedicated to performing engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction projects. We’re seeking an individual with a strong commitment to ethics and integrity, capable of working independently or collaboratively to meet deadlines, prioritizing safety, and demonstrating a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of civil construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and laborers to allocate resources effectively and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance, implementing corrective measures as needed to maintain project integrity.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for optimizing project efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in civil construction management, with a track record of successfully overseeing projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and materials, with the ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and ethical standards in construction practices.
