Lead the interconnection process for energy storage projects, from feasibility studies to commercial operation, collaborating with regulatory agencies, utilities, and grid operators to navigate complex requirements, while managing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the interconnection process for all energy storage projects, from initial feasibility studies through to commercial operation.
  • Collaborate with regulatory agencies, utilities, and grid operators to navigate complex interconnection requirements and secure timely approvals.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including utilities, permitting authorities, and local communities, to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Oversee the development of interconnection agreements, technical studies, and compliance documentation to ensure project compliance and grid reliability.
  • Provide strategic guidance to project teams on interconnection-related issues and opportunities, driving continuous improvement and innovation in our approach.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in interconnection management for utility-scale renewable energy projects, with a strong understanding of grid integration and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop innovative solutions to overcome them.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for clean energy and a commitment to driving positive change in the energy industry.
