What you’ll do:

Review of accruals and expense items for the management company and investment fund

Liaise with fund administrator and investment groups to resolve questions and reconcile differences

Execute day-to-day financial transactions, including invoice payments, wire set up, payroll processing, bank accounts reconciliations and cash usage monitoring

Record keeping, including organizing invoices, receipts and other accounting support

Reconcile and analyze various financial accounts to ensure accuracy.

Monitor and analyze and document investment income, realized capital gains/losses, invested assets, incentive income allocation, as well as other investment data elements.

Demonstrate understanding of US tax reporting including K-1 reviews

Assist with annual US GAAP financial statement prepartion and audit process

Assist management in the implementation of new policies and procedures, participate in projects

Various ad hoc projects to be expected as part of a small tea
What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or, Finance

Expertise with QuickBooks, Excel, and PowerPoint
-
Accounting/financial services experience; fund experience is a plus
-
Master’s Degree, CPA are pluses, not required
-
Familiarity/prior exposure to energy markets, a plus; strong interest in energy and energy markets is a must.
