In this role, you’ll support all design-related issues from pre-construction through construction phases, coordinate vendor prints with stakeholders, and collaborate with engineers to facilitate material requisition and project evaluations. Additionally, you’ll manage project change control activities, analyze costs, and communicate financial performance, while ensuring efficient project methods and profitability. You’ll also interact with clients to interpret their needs, manage design deliverables, and liaise with stakeholders for successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Support all design related issues prior construction and during construction.
- Review and coordinate vendor print (manufacturing drawing) with related parties.
- Coordinate with engineers to prepare material requisition, technical bid evaluation and purchase specifications for purchase orders.
- Manage and administer project change control approval activities, analyze project costs impact to support project manager, and communicate project financial performance with leaders.
- Cooperate and communicate with the project manager and other project participants and collaborate with engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project’s profitability.
- Interact with clients, interpret their needs and requirements to incorporate it to the related drawing and document.
- Manage design deliverables. Liaise with design consultants, client, partners, and all other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Hybrid Schedule (4 days in office, 1 day remote)
- Renewable Energy experience or equivalent field experience
- Electrical Engineering Degree
- 5-7+ years of Electrical Engineering Experience with Utilities or Power Generation
