Viridan Group is partnered with a well-funded utility-scale Solar, Wind, and Storage developer based in Texas. Their team boasts a multi-GW pipeline with numerous projects set to enter construction in the coming months.
Given their growth, they need a Quality Inspector. This person will be responsible for QC Management of utility-scale Solar and BESS projects. The inspector will focus on either the electrical or mechanical scope of work for projects
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the QA/QC management system at sites.
- Develop inspection and test programs for projects
- Ensure projects adhere to health and safety guidelines.
- Document quality records.
- Independently conduct all inspection activities independently
- Review and edit IFCs as necessary
- Work with Construction teams, Project Managers, and third parties to ensure alignment on quality’s scope of work
Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of construction experience on renewable energy generation projects.
- Previous inverter or solar tracker installation experience is a must
- Familiar with installing modules of varying degrees (HV, MV, etc.)
- OSHA 10 Certification
Location
- This is an on-site position with home visits every six weeks
- Projects are in Texas and/or New Mexico
