We're partnered with a leading global energy company that focuses on the development, operation, and maintenance of renewable energy projects, including wind and solar farms, as well as battery storage solutions.  

As they continue to expand they're renewable energy portfolio, they're seeing a Mechanical Quality Inspector to play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and operation of our renewable energy projects.  

This role will report directly to the Head of Project Management Construction leading large scale battery and solar projects mostly within the US closing the gap to have over 2GW in 2025. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Follow the QA/QC management system and health and safety guidelines at sites.

  • Utilize QA/QC computer programs to document quality records.

  • Perform mechanical inspection activities independently.

  • Ensure compliance with Mechanical ITP stages and project closeout requirements.

  • Monitor Mechanical operations, conduct inspections, and communicate quality scope of work requirements, ensuring timely completion of all documentation and inspections.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in the US for any employer, holds a valid US Driver's License, and possesses OSHA 10 Certification.

  • Demonstrates essential previous experience in solar tracker installation, ideally with three or more tracker systems (ATI, GameChange, or Nextracker), and a prerequisite is the experience in installing modules of different wattage classes.

  • Proven ability in quality control of tracker installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Holds OSHA 30 Certification.

  • Proficient in conducting regular Quality Control reports and implementing remedial processes based on engineering documents.
